AbCellera which IPO-ed recently is a biotechnology company developing antibody therapeutics to improve patient outcomes. It specializes on therapeutic antibodies, screening, choosing, and analyzing millions of naturally produced antibodies to be used as next-generation drug candidates.
Empasco worked with academics at Imperial to do a current state analysis of innovation in frontier market countries including the exact steps that need to be taken to jumpstart the process of innovation investment in these countries.
Empasco has worked closely with the Global Peace PACT, advising on Technological solutions for positive global change and consulting intra-governmental PACT partners on deploying technology across their initiatives and projects. Empasco has co-ordinated partner projects with representatives of the governments of Sierra Leone and Armenia, among others.
Empasco had the pleasure of supporting some of the leading entrepreneurs and innovators through our work with African Caribbean Pacific Young Professional Network (ACP YPN). At the Conference on Entrepreneurship and Development in Brussels, Empasco presented research on the topic of sustainable solutions in the business context and highlighted the problem of isolation of the African continent as a key challenge. The conference was organised in collaboration with World Solidarity Forum.
Empasco supported NTM+ at the Giant Health conference in London so as part of the strategy of channeling some of the groundbreaking medical innovation into the developing world. Additionally, Empasco worked closely with the Company in their international expansion efforts, connecting the organisation to leading surgeons in Armenia thus allowing for the solution to be delivered to prior underserved communities.
Empasco were invited to the United Nations Secretariat in Geneva for the special Sri Chinmoy exhibit opening followed by a discussion with the UN representatives on the importance of Impact Data collection in showing real tangible results. The meeting resulted in discussion on application of Blockchain technology at the UN level and has lead to additional coalition research on transparency and accountability technologies.
At the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in London in April 2018, the Empasco team supported and was part of the organising team, including the Commonwealth Youth Forum. The events offered the opportunity to debate and discuss some of the key issues relating to the advancement of the Commonwealth agenda of solving complex global issues by bringing together representatives from the worlds of business, civil society and government.
